Terms & Conditions

VENUE RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Venue Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered upon application for and between:

1. RENTAL PERIOD AND USE OF PREMISES
1.1 Rental Duration
The rental period begins as stipulated in the application. This Agreement covers a period of the agreed rental period. Any use of the venue outside of the agreed rental period will incur additional charges at a rate of [Overtime rate of SGD 100 per hour].
1.2 Permitted Use
The Client agrees to use the venue solely for the event described in the "Event Type" section above. Any other use of the premises requires prior written consent from the Lessor.


2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 Rental Fee
The total rental fee for the space is as agreed priced via the rental period. The Client agrees to pay the full rental fee prior to the event, and no access to the venue will be granted until the payment is received in its entirety.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payments can be made via PayNow (contact us) or via Credit Card.


3. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
3.1 Responsibility for Damage
The Client is responsible for any damage or loss to the venue, including all furniture, fixtures, equipment, and property, that occurs during the rental period. This includes any damage caused by the Client’s guests, vendors, or contractors.
3.2 Repair or Replacement Costs
If damage occurs, the Client agrees to pay for repairs or replacement costs. The Lessor will provide an invoice for such charges, which must be paid by the Client within 30 days of receiving the invoice.


4. FOOD, DRINK, AND CATERING
4.1 Food and Drink
The Client is permitted to consume food and beverages during the event. This includes food and drinks brought into the venue by the Client or their vendors. The venue provides access to the pantry area, and the Client may use the pantry facilities to store and prepare food and drinks. However, the Client is responsible for ensuring that the pantry area is left clean and orderly after the event. 
If food or drink is consumed in the venue, the Client agrees to ensure that all food waste, containers, and leftover materials are disposed of properly and that the pantry area is left in the same condition as it was prior to the event.
4.2 Catering Requirements
The Client must comply with all local health and safety regulations regarding food and drink. If applicable, the Client must ensure all vendors have the necessary licenses to provide food or beverages on the premises.


5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
5.1 Client's Cleaning Responsibilities
The Client agrees to clean up after the event. This includes removing all food, trash, decorations, and personal items by the end of the rental period.
5.2 Cleaning Fee
If the venue is left in a mess and unclean, the Client agrees to pay a SGD 100 cleaning fee  which will be billed separately.
 
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
6.1 Cancellation by Client
The Client acknowledges that the reservation is non-refundable except as outlined below:

  1. Cancellation 2 Weeks or More Before Booking: The Client may cancel the reservation without incurring any cancellation fee, provided that written notice is given to the Lessor at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.

  2. Cancellation 1 Week Before Booking: If the Client cancels the reservation within 1 week (but more than 3 days) before the event date, the Client will be subject to a cancellation fee of SGD 100. This fee will be deducted from any paid amount.

  3. Cancellation 3 Days or Less Before Booking: If the Client cancels the reservation within 3 days of the event date, the reservation is non-refundable, and no refund will be issued.

Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7 to 14 days from the cancellation date.
6.2 Rescheduling Policy
The Client may request to reschedule the event by providing written notice to the Lessor at least 7 days prior to the original event date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval by the Lessor. If the event is rescheduled, any fees paid will be applied to the new date. If rescheduling occurs with less than 7 days notice, the Client may be subject to additional charges or may forfeit any prepaid amounts, depending on the nature of the rescheduling.
6.3 Cancellation by Lessor
In the event that the Lessor needs to cancel the reservation for any reason, the Client will be given the following options:

  1. Full Refund: The Client will receive a full refund of any fees already paid, without any deductions.

  2. Rescheduling: Alternatively, the Client may choose to reschedule the event to a later date, subject to availability. The rescheduled date will be of equivalent value to the original booking, and both parties must mutually agree upon the new date and time. The Lessor will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the Client's preferred date.

The Lessor will notify the Client as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation and will assist in making alternative arrangements.


7. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
7.1 Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor and its affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Client’s use of the venue.
7.2 Liability
The Lessor is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to the Client's property, guests, or event participants during the rental period.


8. NOISE AND BEHAVIORAL CONDUCT
8.1 Noise Levels
The Client agrees to ensure noise levels remain within acceptable limits as defined by local ordinances. If noise complaints are received, the Client may be asked to lower the volume or vacate the venue. If the Client fails to comply with these requests and the noise continues, the Lessor reserves the right to ask the Client to immediately vacate the venue, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.
8.2 Guest Conduct
The Client is responsible for the behaviour of all event guests. Disruptive or illegal behaviour will result in immediate termination of the event without refund.
